The Arizona Department of Transportation has turned those big, digital freeway signs into a work of art.
"In the past year, the Arizona Department of Transportation has placed unconventional safety messages on overhead signs. This is by design," an ADOT spokesperson wrote in a blog post. "We want to grab people’s attention and make them engage with important safety messages. Often, these messages will relate to current events or pop culture."
Its latest is a reference to the bound-to-be-a-mega-hit Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
