PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns haven't had much to celebrate this season, but lately things are clicking. The team is on a three-game winning streak, winning four of its last five after losing 17 games in a row.
During Wednesday night's win against the New York Knicks, Suns guard Devin Booker became the youngest NBA player ever to make 500 three-pointers after hitting a season-high 41 points with six treys Wednesday.
The 22-year-old out of Kentucky took just over three and a half seasons to hit his 500th three-pointer.
Booker is on pace to have his best statistical season yet, so far averaging 25 points per game, 6.6 assists per game and four rebounds per game. He's shooting the best from the field that he has in his career at nearly 46 percent.
Last July, Booker signed a five-year $158 million contract extension with Phoenix, which made him the highest paid player in franchise history.
