PHOENIX — Wanna get away? To Hawaii, to be exact?
Well, now you can. Southwest Airlines has started selling tickets for its first flights to Hawaii, making a departure from Phoenix a breeze.
Starting March 17, you can fly from Phoenix to Honolulu and if you act fast, you could get a one-way ticket for less than $100. Beware, the cheapest fares are only available through March 5, and will likely sell out fast.
The flight is not direct, however, so you'll fly from Phoenix to Oakland and continue onto Honolulu.
The Dallas-based airline announced in 2018 that it planned on adding flights to Hawaii from San Diego, Sacramento, San Jose and Oakland.
The airline said it will be announcing flights out of Sacramento in the next few weeks and those flights will start running shortly after.
Southwest's flight schedule can be found on its website.
