May 11 will mark one year since Title 42 ended and there are several changes along the border of Mexico and the United States.

Title 42 is a public health order that allowed U.S. officials to turn away migrants who came to the U.S.-Mexico border on the grounds of preventing the spread of COVID-19. 

12News journalists traveled to the border to talk to the communities there and find out how their lives have changed since Title 42 ended. Here's what we found out.
