What time does Trump speak tonight at the RNC?

The former president is speaking tonight for the first time since the assassination attempt on Saturday.

MILWAUKEE — Former President Donald Trump will be closing out the Republican National Convention this evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in his first speech since an assassination attempt on his life.

The RNC began on Monday night and has had around 80 speakers, including members of Trump's family and his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance.

The former president and Republican nominee for the 2024 U.S. presidential election will address the crowd at the Fiserv Forum to close out the convention. The speech will be the first time Trump has spoken since an assassination attempt was made on his life on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania.

What time will Trump speak? 

Trump's speech is expected to be at 7 p.m. Arizona time and will be after Dana White, CEO of Ultimate Fighting Champion, speaks, according to an article from USA Today.

Other people speaking this evening are Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State; Alina Habba, Trump’s attorney; Tucker Carlson, Hulk Hogan, professional entertainer and wrestler; Eric Trump, and Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Where can I watch Trump’s speech?

Trump's speech will be aired on 12News.com as well as live on 12News and on the 12News+ app. In addition, all major networks will carry convention coverage, and a livestream is available on the convention’s website.

What is Trump expected to talk about tonight? 

The speech convention goers will hear tonight is going to be different than what Trump originally had planned. Trump said in an interview after the assassination attempt that he reworked his remarks and wants his speech to “project a message of unity,” according to an article by The Guardian.
