ARIZONA, USA — The election is coming up quickly, and this is the last week you can register to vote in Arizona.
Oct. 7 is the last day to register to vote in the November General Election, and early voting begins just two days later on Oct. 9. It's important to check your registration status to make sure your voice is heard.

The Arizona Secretary of State's website has links where residents can check their registration status or register to vote.
Maricopa County offers portals on its website where residents can register to vote, check their voter registration status, access a digital voter registration card and find polling locations.
The digital voter registration card lets residents view their current elected officials, request an early ballot, view candidates and even has information on how to become a paid temporary election worker.
Voters can also register to vote by mail by filling out this form and mailing it to their county's elections office.
Here's a look ahead at some of the key dates for the Nov. 5 General Election:
- Oct. 7 Last day to register to vote
- Oct. 9 Early voting begins and early ballots are mailed out
- Oct. 25 Last day to request a ballot-by-mail
- Nov. 1 Last day of early in-person voting
- Nov. 5 General Election Day
