FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Voters in Coconino County who won't be able to make it to a polling location to vote in the Presidential Preference Election on March 19 can take advantage of "emergency early voting" this upcoming weekend.

Emergency early voting will be available on Saturday, March 16, Sunday, March 17, and Monday, March 18.

Voters voting those days must complete a form stating they have an emergency and need to vote on an emergency ballot. Details of the emergency will not be asked, a statement from the Coconino County Recorder said.

"Voters with non-health-related emergencies, such as having to be out of town on Election Day, may also cast an emergency early ballot," the statement said.

Emergency early voting locations:

  • Coconino County Recorder’s office: 110 East Cherry Avenue, Flagstaff
  • Coconino County Voter Services office: Flagstaff Mall, Between JCPenney & Planet Fitness, 4650 North US Highway 89, Flagstaff
  • Alta Edison Native American Outreach Center: 78 Main Street, Tuba City

Voters who have received their early ballots through the mail may drop off their filled-out ballots at any of the emergency early voting locations, any polling place or vote center on Election Day or in a ballot drop box. Voted early ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

Early voting ballots in Maricopa County were mailed to those on the early voting list on Feb. 21.
