PHOENIX — A new poll from Suffolk University with The Arizona Republic shows U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly holds a mid-to-high single-digit lead over Republican candidate, Blake Masters.
Kelly (D-Arizona) leads the poll 49 percent to 42 percent over Blake Masters, with 7 percent remaining undecided.

Kelly also holds a lead over Masters with independent voters, ahead 51-36 percent with 11 percent undecided.
Polling was conducted from Sep. 21-25 using telephone interviews with 500 state residents by Suffolk University for The Arizona Republic. The margin of error was recorded as plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
Early voting begins Oct. 12., and Kelly's lead is approaching an outright majority in the poll.
