PHOENIX — Republican candidate for US Senate Kari Lake said Tuesday she will accept the results of the election even if she loses.
"I will accept the results of the election," Lake said. "I have had a few concerns but we've done a lot of legwork to prevent any problems."
In 2022, Lake refused to concede after she lost the race for Arizona governor against Katie Hobbs.
She continued her unsuccessful fight in court to overturn it even after beginning her Senate campaign and as recently as last week refused to admit defeat in a contentious CNN interview, the Associated Press reported.
Lake is facing Democratic candidate Ruben Gallego in a race that is one of a handful that will determine the Senate majority.
