How to register to vote, request early ballot in Arizona

The deadline to register to vote for the November election is Oct. 7.

PHOENIX — The last day to register to vote in the November General Election is coming up on Oct. 7 and there are several resources for voters to make sure they are registered before the deadline.

The Arizona Secretary of State's website has links where residents can check their registration status or register to vote.

Maricopa County offers portals on its website where residents can register to vote, check their voter registration status, access a digital voter registration card and find polling locations.

The digital voter registration card lets residents view their current elected officials, request an early ballot, view candidates and even has information on how to become a paid temporary election worker.

Voters can also register to vote by mail by filling out this form and mailing it to their county's elections office.

The 12News Voter Guide is also now available and will let users get personalized ballot guides and polling locations based on their address.

Officials urge residents to check their voter registration status now to be sure they are ready for Election Day.
