PHOENIX — Gwen Walz, first lady of Minnesota and wife of vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz, will be campaigning in Arizona on Sep. 16.

This is Gwen Walz's first time visiting the Grand Canyon State and she will be stopping Phoenix, Flagstaff and Kingman.

"With fewer than 55 days until Election Day, Mrs. Walz and local Arizona speakers will underscore the contrast between Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s vision for a brighter, more hopeful future versus Donald Trump and JD Vance’s Project 2025 agenda that will give Trump unprecedented, unchecked power to enact his extreme and dangerous agenda," a news release said.

Tim Walz visited the Valley the same day as the presidential debate last week and Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris visited a few weeks prior.

Former president and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has visited Tucson, Glendale and the border in southern Arizona during the campaign. Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance also visited the Valley last week.
