COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. — Coconino County elections officials issued a warning Tuesday over misinformation about who was allowed to vote in the county.
Voters at polling places have reported to poll workers that an unknown group has shared information that they can vote on a federal-only ballot in Coconino County even though they were registered to vote in a different Arizona County, according to elections officials.
According to Arizona law, voters can only vote in the county where they are registered.
Coconino County has 15 vote centers that allow any voter, regardless of precinct, to vote at them and 24 precinct-specific polling locations. Polling locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find their designated polling location, voters can visit the Coconino County Elections Department website
Voters need to remember to bring a valid form of identification such as a driver's license, state ID card, or other government-issued identification.
County officials say all polling locations were open and functional with moderate wait times as of noon, Tuesday.
