The 42nd president will "encourage Arizonans to vote early in person or cast their mail ballot for Vice President Harris, Governor Walz and Democrats up and down the ballot," a news release announcing the visit said.

Other details about the former president's trip to Phoenix will be released in the coming days.

Clinton campaigned for Harris in Georgia over the weekend. He spoke Sunday at a Black church in Albany, a historic spot for the civil rights movement.

With just weeks until the election multiple heavy hitters have made trips to the battleground state of Arizona.

Harris was in the state last week and on the GOP side, Trump was in Prescott Valley on Sunday.

This is a developing story; additional details will be added as they are released.
