How to watch the upcoming Arizona political debates

Debates between candidates will be happening all through September and early October. Here's where you can watch.

PHOENIX — As we get closer to the Nov. 5 general elections, several local candidates will be participating in a series of upcoming debates sponsored by the Arizona Media Association.

12News will be streaming the debates on all digital platforms including the 12News+ app and 12News.com.

The first debate will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3., featuring candidates for the Arizona Corporation Commission.

The debate between U.S. Senate candidates Rep. Ruben Gallego and Kari Lake will be on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Here's a full schedule of the upcoming debates in Arizona:

What time are the debates?

  • Tuesday, Sept. 3:
    • 6 p.m.: Arizona Corporation Commission
  • Thursday, Sept. 5:
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. House CD2 (1-on-1 with Jonathan Nez)
  • Thursday, Sept. 12:
    • 4 p.m.: Maricopa County Recorder
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. House CD5
  • Thursday, Sept. 19:
    • 6 p.m.: Issues: Immigration Enforcement
  • Tuesday, Sept. 24:
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. House CD8
  • Wednesday, Sept. 25:
    • 4 p.m.: Maricopa County Sheriff
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. House CD9 (1-on-1 with Quacy Smith)
  • Thursday, Sept. 26:
    • 6 p.m.: Issues: Partisan Primaries
  • Monday, Oct. 7:
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. House CD6
  • Tuesday, Oct. 8:
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. House CD1
  • Wednesday, Oct. 9:
    • 6 p.m.: U.S. Senate
