LAS VEGAS — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake shook areas near Las Vegas on Tuesday night, according to the United States Geological Service.
The quake was centered about 45 minutes from Las Vegas, near Indian Springs, the USGS said and hit at 8:06 p.m. People in Indian Springs, Las Vegas, and Henderson all reported feeling light shaking. No damage has been reported.
Several social media users went straight to X to talk about the quake.
This comes a day after a 4.4 magnitude earthquake shook Highland Park, California.
