Move over Halloween Whopper, there’s a new black sandwich to talk about.
IKEA Japan recently introduced the Ninja Dog, meant to look like a ninja scroll, this month. Bamboo charcoal gives the bun and the hot dog its dark color. Yuriko Iwasaki, corporate communication manager with the company, said the ingredient can detox, making it seem a tad healthier than a typical dog.
The bun is nearly 8 inches long and the dog is nearly a foot.
It was created to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary in Japan and will be available through the end of the year.
