That’s according to a study led by researchers at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora that was published in JAMA Pediatrics.

The study says children’s hospitals report double the number of marijuana-related visits after 2014 – and regional poison centers had five-times more pediatric cases.
Most poisonings involved edible marijuana products that had not properly been stored away from children.
These products often belonged to a family members, babysitter or friend, the study says.
