The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released the identity of the woman allegedly killed by her 14-year-old nephew in Sun Lakes, Arizona.
According to MCSO, 42-year-old Tonya Harper was stabbed in the neck and found dead Friday morning.
Her 14-year-old nephew was booked into the southeast juvenile detention center on a first-degree murder charge, an MCSO spokesperson said.
MCSO said the Maricopa County Attorney's Office will decide whether to charge the boy as an adult or not.
No further details about the case were released.
