PHOENIX — Some lottery players in Arizona got a big Christmas present in their stockings this past weekend.
Multiple Powerball tickets produced huge winnings after the drawings that were held on Saturday and Monday, according to the Arizona Lottery.
One ticket sold at a Safeway near Queen Creek and Power roads is now worth $1 million after matching the numbers from Saturday's drawing. Another ticket sold at a Circle K in Tucson yielded a jackpot worth $50,000.
Saturday's winning numbers were 9, 14, 17, 18, 53 and Powerball: 6.
A Powerball ticket sold at a QuikTrip near Van Buren Street and Estrella Parkway is worth $50,000 after the drawing on Christmas Day. Another ticket sold at Chicago Bar in Tucson is worth $50,000 after Monday's drawing.
Monday's winning numbers were 5, 12, 20, 24, 29 and Powerball: 4.
