PEORIA, Ariz. — Hubbard Family Swim School, with locations across the Valley, is celebrating 25 years in business this year.
As 12News continues to stress the importance of watching your kids around water, instructors at Hubbard Family Swim School echo the measures to put in place to stay safe.
"Our mission is to improve lives by sharing our love for water," said Matt Young, who’s been with the school for 15 years.
Swim lessons can be daunting for kids, he shared. So the best learning happens when kids are enjoying what they’re doing.
“It’s a bonding experience for both the child and the parents, making it a safe family-friendly experience,” he said.
He said safety starts here and leads to good habits down the road.
“We hand out water watcher tags as a visual reminder for those assigned to be responsible watching kids around water,” he said.
The school has locations in Phoenix, Peoria, Mesa and Goodyear.
