PHOENIX — An investigation is underway after a truck was struck by a train near 19th Avenue and McDowell Road in Phoenix.
The truck, which police said was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger, was hit at a low speed around 2 a.m. The woman was unable to get out of the vehicle on her own and required extrication.
The Phoenix Fire Department took her to the hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
