Woman dies after being struck by car in Phoenix

The crash happened near 35th and Dunlap avenues late Monday night, Phoenix police said.

PHOENIX — A woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle near 35th and Dunlap avenues Monday night, Phoenix police confirmed.

The crash happened around 10:45 p.m., police said. First responders rushed the woman, whose identity wasn't disclosed, to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Police said that the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and didn't appear to be intoxicated. There is no word on whether or not police will investigate further.
