Fall at the 16th hole injures woman during second round of the WM Phoenix Open

The woman is in the hospital after falling but is expected to be OK.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A woman is in the hospital after a fall at the 16th hole during the second round of the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department

The department said the woman was treated by their medic cart and bike team paramedics and has been taken to a nearby trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The details about the fall have not been released. 

Scottsdale Fire says they have medic carts along with paramedics on bikes and foot placed all around the WM Phoenix Open. All of them have life-support equipment.
