Who is Allison Feldman's alleged killer?

The 42-year-old suspect worked at a Phoenix deli for a little over a year before police arrested him.

PHOENIX - Ian Mitcham is the main suspect in Allison Feldman’s 2015 murder in Scottsdale, according to police.

The 42-year-old is currently being held on a $5 million cash bond.

12 News confirmed Mitcham worked at a Phoenix deli for the last 14 months before police arrested him outside the deli Tuesday morning.

Mitcham’s neighbor says he would mostly see him keep to himself.

“He would always wave and seemed very friendly. He seemed like a very nice guy,” said Tony Reed, who lives across from Mitcham.

Scottsdale police say the murder suspect has had two DUI arrests. He was arrested for a misdemeanor DUI on Jan 8, 2015. That case was resolved.

On Jan. 20 2016, Mitcham was arrested again for driving under the influence with a child in the car. The suspect was also arrested at a Motel 6 in Mesa in September of 2015 for being in possession of cocaine.

Court documents say Mitcham denies killing Feldman despite his DNA being found at the murder scene. However, he did admit he had an alcohol problem during the months surrounding Feldman’s murder.
