PHOENIX — Two people, including a child, have been rushed to the hospital in critical condition following a crash in west Phoenix, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Fire Department said the two-vehicle crash happened just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Thomas Road.

The fire department said a total of two people, a female child and a man, were transported to the hospital. An update on their conditions is not available.
Police said five vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the crash.
