Valley Fry’s employee blown away by the generosity of a customer

One Fry’s employee received an unexpected card in the checkout line on Saturday.

PHOENIX — Stephanie Harrison was not expecting to receive anything at the checkout line. But one customer at Fry’s gave her something other than payment for his groceries.

Harrison received $500 from a generous shopper at a Phoenix Fry’s on Nov. 18. Harrison showed 12News the card and the money, saying she knew exactly what she was going to do with the unexpected gift.

“I am so blessed, thank you Jesus because this is going to help with my rent,” Harrison said.

Harrison said the last few months have been difficult for her and her son, as they lost her son’s father just a few months ago.

Now that’s what we call the beauty of the Thanksgiving season.
