Valley groups host candy buyback parties for leftover Halloween treats

Candy buyback parties are a unique way to keep the massive pile of sweets manageable, and still give back to a cause.

PHOENIX — The spooky season is behind us and we're all left with fun memories and massive piles of candy. Maybe even too massive!

So if you're looking for a way to use up all that leftover Halloween candy (that isn't just chowing down) we have a unique option: Candy buybacks.

Some local orthodontics and dental offices are hosting festivals and open house events for kids looking to earn a little cash. At these events, your kiddo can get paid by the pound of candy that they bring in. Be aware that most of these have a weight limit for how much candy you can bring.
