TEMPE, Ariz. — One person is dead following a shooting involving Tempe police.

Police were called to the area of Rural and Baseline just before 7 p.m. Friday night. Officers have confirmed police were involved in a shooting and the suspect is dead.
No other details about the incident have been released and 12News has a crew headed to the scene.
