A 13-year-old girl remains in the hospital in critical condition on Tuesday after she was hit by a car in Phoenix the night before.
Police said they responded to the crash at 75th Avenue and Osborn Road around 6 p.m. Monday.
The girl was crossing the street against the signal, when a 70-year-old man who was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado crashed into her.
The driver remained on the scene. He was not impaired.
The girl's injuries were life-threatening.
The intersection was closed for an extended period of time.
There are no charges pending.
