PHOENIX - Sixteen YouTube videos with several hours of audio take us inside the dark and twisted mind of suspected murderer Dwight Jones in the weeks leading up to his killing spree in the Phoenix area.
In the videos, you never see Jones’ face, but you hear his voice and the disdain he has for his ex-wife Connie, a practicing radiologist, with whom he had a messy divorce that lasted several years.
Jones lodges disturbing claim against her and accuses her of paying off those involved in their divorce, including psychiatrist Dr. Steven Pitt, so she could gain custody of their child.
Jones even posted footage he claims is Dr. Pitt doing a forensic interview with his ex-wife.
In a statement, Connie said her ex-husband is a very emotionally disturbed person and that she has feared for her safety for the past nine years.
Five of the videos address the couple’s son, who Jones claimed he had not seen since 2011.
As of this point, Scottsdale police are not releasing any more details about the YouTube videos, only saying they’re part of the investigation.
