PHOENIX — The suspect in an aggravated assault reported this morning in central Phoenix has been identified, Phoenix police said.
Officers responded to the area near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located three people who were identified as victims of an aggravated assault, because all three people were shot at.
One of the three suffered a gunshot wound and she was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers identified and located the suspect, 26-year-old Mark Hixson, near 44th Avenue and Union Hills Drive, police said. Hixson was booked into jail on multiple charges, including aggravated assault.
