SURPRISE, Ariz. — The Sam's Club warehouse in Surprise will be closed for the rest of the day Tuesday following a fire, according to the Surprise Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to the fire at the business, near Loop 303 and Bell Road Tuesday afternoon.
The structure was seriously damaged during the incent, including water damage, the fire department said.
According to the fire department, initially, solar panels were believed to be the starting point for the fire but it was determined that the supporting structures for the panels were what caught fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown, the fire department said.
No one was injured in the blaze.
