Support this Valley mural artist if you're a David Bowie fan

Have you checked out the David Bowie Tribute Wall that took 14 days to complete?

Are you or anyone you know a David Bowie fan? Are you into street art?

Maggie Keane of Phoenix is the local artist to thank for the David Bowie Tribute Wall completed in July 2016, honoring the innovative artist and leading figure in popular music, David Bowie. Located north of McDowell Road on the east side of 7th Street and Granada Road. Keane's inspiration was the creative visual artistry of the late David Bowie.

Keane has always had the talent to illustrate what she saw at an early age, but used her art education, billboard painting training and federal court sketching experience to create the eight portraits on a neighbor's block wall. Even the public thinks this street art is so incredibly well executed.

Keane received her bachelor's degree with a focus in painting and drawing from the University of Arizona. Maggie is known at 12 News for her federal court trials sketch artistry. She also entered the male dominated field of billboard illustrators by luckily impressing her boss with her portfolio.

Maggie Keane has contributed more street art the Valley, adorning a wall in her neighborhood for Khalsa Elementary School and her Ninja Sex Party mural on Oak Street.
