MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks tied the NBA Finals series after beating the Phoenix Suns in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, 109-103.
In their second road game of the finals in Cream City, and Devin Booker scored 42 points, but it wasn't enough.
First Half
Booker, who had something to prove after he struggled in Game 3 where he only scored 10 points for the entire game, doubled his output Wednesday night and played more aggressively, scoring 20 points.
Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't find his rhythm until the halfway point, ending the period with 12 points.
While both teams' star players shined, Chris Paul struggled not to turn the ball over.
Second Half
The Suns' superstar Booker played sensationally in the first half, and this half was no different, going 7-7 from the field during the third quarter.
The entire half consisted of each team exchanging leads and the game came down to the wire. The Bucks offense was solid and helped Khris Middleton lead Milwaukee with 40 points.
However, the Middleton stat line was not the only one who read 40. Booker finished the night with 42 points, but it wasn't enough for the Suns to maintain the series lead, ultimately falling 109-103.
In the waning minutes, an athletic block on Deandre Ayton by Giannis followed by a critical error by CP3 let the game escape from the Suns.
Paul ended the night with 10 points and five turnovers.
