PHOENIX - Students and staff evacuated Alhambra High School Monday afternoon for a dumpster fire that spread to a building, fire officials said.
The Phoenix and Glendale Fire Departments controlled a fire that started in an exterior dumpster that spread to a building causing damage to the eaves and attic. Firefighters were able to limit interior damage.
Summer school classes were in session but students and staff were all able to evacuate.
Fire officials said there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
