About 35,000 people in the East Valley were without power as the Salt River Project experienced multiple outages Thursday, the power company said.
The SRP outage map shows outages in Tempe, Mesa and Apache Junction.
SRP said they experienced a major electrical system disturbance caused a generation loss, and crews cut power to some areas to keep the problem from expanding.
Power was restored to all SRP customers as of 7:30 p.m.
