PHOENIX - City of Phoenix crews are working to fill a sinkhole which restricted the northbound lanes of 15th Avenue just south of Thomas Road early Thursday morning.
City of Phoenix officials say the road should reopen by 8 a.m.
The sinkhole, about 4 feet wide and 4 to 5 feet deep, opened right in the middle of 15th Avenue.
Phoenix officials say a sewage leak caused the hole. Drivers had to use the left-turn lane to get around it.
