SUN CITY, Ariz. — There is a sad update to a Silver Alert that was issued Wednesday for a 91-year-old man who was last seen on Nov. 21 in Sun City.
Lawrence Cooley was found dead in his car, which was partially submerged in the Gila River, by the Gila River Police Department, officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
No foul play is expected in his death. No other details were given.
