SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A City of Scottsdale trash truck was involved in a deadly pedestrian-involved crash on Wednesday.
Early Wednesday morning, officers responded to the vehicle-pedestrian collision near Granite Reef and Indian School roads, the Scottsdale Police Department said.
The investigation revealed that the garbage truck stuck Freddy Tombo, 34, as he was sleeping in the alley under some refuse, police said.
Tombo was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the collision injuries.
Police say the incident is still under investigation.
