Just in time for Mother's day, a local Scottsdale-based company is offering moms-to-be a box full of goodies and supplies to make preparing for baby a little bit easier.
12 News' Emma Jade spoke with Mandy Holmes, owner of Mama Boxes, about her new business:

How did you get your start?
Holmes:
As a new mom myself, I was overwhelmed by all the products marketed to pregnant women to ease the discomfort and tackle the various side effects of pregnancy. After speaking with other women, I realized we were all in the same boat! We didn't have the time or energy to spend researching the thousands of product options only to buy them and realize they were not a good fit for us. That is how Mama Boxes came about.

Holmes:

How is it going? Any big successes?
Holmes:
After tremendous local success by targeting parenting and pregnancy groups, OB offices and blogs, we are taking Mama Boxes nationwide with online sales. We have had companies approach us to get their products in our boxes - I must personally believe in the product and feel comfortable using it in my home and with my family before I consider it for the boxes. Mama Boxes are being featured on a few national blogs for Mother's Day and I am doing a couple of podcasts in the next few weeks leading up to Mother's Day.
Mama Boxes can be purchased individually for $22.99 per trimester or $59.99 for a three-trimester bundle. Each box contains up to 10 sample or full-sized products that are all specific to the trimester the box is purchased for.
