PHOENIX - Court paperwork details an extensive online sexual relationship between 33-year-old Lisa Corn and a 14-year-old Fountain Hills boy.
The father of the teen contacted police after finding sexual explicated photos on the boy’s phone, according to police paperwork. The boy says he met Corn through an Xbox live chat.
The woman also communicated with the teen through text message and phone calls, according to the Form IV.
When police reviewed the phone, they found several explicit photos Corn had sent the boy, as well as naked photos the boy had sent back to her.
In court paperwork, Corn admits to knowing the boy was underage and sending explicit photos of herself to the boy.
According to documents, the suspect originally reached out to the teen via Xbox Live, saying she was worried about "her daughter meeting people while she is playing online games." Her 13-year-old daughter had been playing online with the victim.
Experts say that even though gaming systems like Xbox can be fun, they also work like most internet platforms. So you can send text messages, videos and pictures through private messages.
"We always suggest parents try to keep their kids into the suggested games, set up parental control for your kids and then just pay attention who they're talking to and who they're playing with online," said Aaron Depue, store manager at Fallout Games in Tempe.
A judge ordered Corn to not have any contact with underage children. The judge also ordered Corn to move out of her house to avoid contact with her own children.
According to the Form IV, she faces 11 counts of aggravated luring a minor for sexual exploitation, 11 counts of transmitting obscene material to a minor, and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
