GILBERT, Ariz. — An investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a home in Gilbert overnight.
Gilbert police officers found 40-year-old Matthew Blevins and 28-year-old Brooke Lundy dead in a home in a neighborhood southeast of Ray Road and Val Vista Drive.
Police said Lundy sustained gunshot injuries and Blevins died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Blevins and Lundy were in a relationship together.
Gilbert police said their deaths appear to be the result of a "murder-suicide" incident. The circumstances leading up to their deaths are still being investigated by police.
