GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Aerial footage from Sky 12 showed the aftermath of a plane crash in a field near Goodyear Thursday morning.
The tail number of the single-engine Diamond DA 40 shows it belonging to CTC Aviation in Goodyear.
According to the FAA, the plane crashed shortly after taking off from Goodyear Airport "under unknown circumstances," although what appear to be skid marks could be seen from the aerial footage.
Only the pilot was on board.
No word yet on the condition of the pilot.
