PHOENIX — Phoenix police are looking for two people allegedly involved in an armed robbery in May 2023.

Two people were walking to their vehicle in the parking lot of a store in west Phoenix near 75th Avenue on May 21, 2023. Two suspects followed the individuals to their truck, police said.

The suspects then approached the individuals and demanded their gold chains, police said. One suspect allegedly pulled up his shirt and showed the victims that he was armed with a black handgun and threatened to shoot.

One of the two victims gave the suspects his gold chain, police said. The other victim started to yell to try and get other people's attention in the parking lot. The suspects fled the scene.

Suspect one is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 185 pounds, with brown eyes, and was seen wearing a white Bass Pro "trucker" hat and a red t-shirt with "In loving memory" printed on the shirt. Police said he is a Hispanic man, age 18, with a tattoo on his right arm: "Nado."

Suspect two is described as a Hispanic man, 18 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. He has a thin build and was seen wearing a black Tommy Hilfiger jacket, light blue jeans and white Air Force One shoes.

Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident; tipsters will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of these suspects.
