PHOENIX — Two women were arrested in connection to over $24,000 worth of merchandise stolen from Valley retail stores, police said.
Phoenix police released body cam footage of officers arresting the two women on Oct. 24. According to police, the women both lived in California and traveled to the Valley to steal from several retail stores.
Phoenix police said the two women stole the merchandise in less than a month long period and they were linked to 12-separate incidents in the Valley. The body cam footage released shows both suspects walking out of a Wal-Mart and an Ulta, as well as other stores.
The body cam footage shows police officers chasing down one suspect and finding the other hiding in a grocery store. Both suspects were arrested with multiple felony charges, police said.
