Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by car in Phoenix

Police say the driver of the car stayed on scene and is cooperating.

PHOENIX — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Phoenix Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Northern Avenue and 43rd Avenue around 5:45 a.m. Sunday for reports of a crash.

When officers arrived on scene they found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car. 

The man was taken to the hospital. The driver of the car stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
