Pedestrian dead after crash in Tempe

The crash happened at the intersection of Priest Drive and Warner Road, Tempe police said. Details are limited.

TEMPE, Ariz. — A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a vehicle Monday morning at Priest Drive and Warner Road, Tempe police said.

Police said that the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Priest Drive currently is closed from Warner Road to Commerce Drive.

Police said that the investigation is still active and there is no other information to release at this time. The pedestrian's identity wasn't disclosed.
