GLENDALE, Ariz. — A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car near 59th and Maryland avenues in Glendale Tuesday night, police say.
The driver stayed on the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. 59th Avenue is closed from Glendale Avenue to Maryland Avenue.
Meanwhile, in Central Phoenix, police have responded to another crash involving a pedestrian.
