If there's one thing that we've come to expect for the holidays in Arizona, it's the quirky signs above the state's freeways.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is behind the clever words that often receive social media praise and sometimes even national attention.
The sign equating drinking and driving to eating peas with your guacamole started it all three years ago today. Since then, for every concert and every holiday, Arizonans have come to expect witty words on the overheard freeway signs.
ADOT tweeted Wednesday "Thanksgiving etiquette" with several food and car emojis with a photo of the sign drivers were seeing.
"PASS FOOD TO THE RIGHT CARS ON THE LEFT," the sign reads.
To quote one of the comments on the photo, "good one," ADOT.
