One of North America's oldest bobcats died at the Phoenix Zoo last week, zoo officials said Wednesday.
Nacho, a 26-year-old bobcat, was humanely euthanized after her chronic kidney disease became end stage renal failure, officials said. They said her condition recently deteriorated very rapidly.
The Phoenix Zoo said she was well loved by staff, volunteers and guests throughout the many years she was with the zoo. She joined the zoo in 1998.
